Download for Charity, and Hark, We Herald Angels SING!

Hi everyone-
I have that "race to the finish line" feeling, the one I always get as a year winds down and the days get shorter and shorter. There's only a few weeks left of 2011, the Year of the Rabbit, but you can still hop on over to one of these great events to make your spirits merry. I'll be at all of them (and performing at 3). Please join me- it would brighten these dark Fall days to see you once again before the Solstice!

PURCHASE AND DOWNLOAD MUSIC FOR CHARITY!
Check out the Holiday Music Sale and download or purchase CDs on CDBaby.com! Every holiday season, a portion of proceeds goes to charities I support (like LifeBEAT, women's health issues, and environmental cleanup), so please consider downloading a few tunes or albums, and picking up some CDs for the music lovers on your list. All CD prices are reduced (with additional discounts for purchasing multiple CDs), and all downloads are now just $0.89.

Here are the direct links to each album:
Live At Camp Nashville (live double album recorded in Nashville TN)
Hold the Sun (13 songs, including Racecar, Lime Green Taxi, and She's Gonna Make You Want Her)
Hiding Underneath (Debut 2005 EP, including the original acoustic version of Cradle the Moon)

This year, WIM is teamed up with the Oxygen Network to present the bash: complimentary drinks, eats, live DJs all night, and other goodies from sponsors like Bedford Cheese Shop, Vitamin Water, PopChips, and more.

2. David Ippolito's "Something-th Year-End Concert" Saturday Dec 10
One of the biggest "possibility junkies" I know, David is best known for his over 20 year run as "That Guitar Man from Central Park", performing every warm Saturday by the 72nd Street pond. He does a fantastic, funny, spirit-lifting year-end show. This year, he's covering one of my songs from "Live At Camp Nashville", and rumor has it I'll be joining him onstage for a song or two. Check out David and videos of previous Year-End concerts at the link above, and definitely plan to come this Saturday night!

4. Kenneth Gartman's "Ballsy Christmas" Holiday open mic, Sunday Dec 18!
"Aspiring to be the most offensive holiday show of the season," according to the promo materials. Well, we'll be the judge of that! I've attended and sang at this event the past couple years, and it's balls-to-the-wall ridiculous fun. Kenneth Gartman holds court as master of ceremonies, singer, and piano man, and it looks like there's even a band this year! Come bring a holiday tune, or re-write one into something inappropriate, or just come and watch the silliness go down. Last year, I was captured on camera doing full cheerleading splits in yoga clothes and a Santa hat; who knows what this year will bring?
